Introduction

M.Pharm is a post-graduate course that can be pursued by a graduate after the completion of an undergraduate degree in the pharmaceutical field. There are different specializations available in M. Pharm. such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Pharmacy Practice.

M.Pharm. course duration is 2 year which has 4 semesters including thesis research work. In depth knowledge of pharmacy is provided in the M.Pharm course. Curriculum includes subjects like Drug regulatory Affairs, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology, etc.
Master of Pharmacy course deals with analysing, testing, data interpreting and researching of drugs for the treatment of the diseases of human kind. An increased requirement of number of quality professionals in pharmaceutical industry makes this course demanding in pharmaceutical field. The modernization of the Pharmaceuticals has made a massive impact on the development of the medical field.
